  1. Melissa is a great partner. We have scheduled Bagels and Laptops sessions up to April break. We sent out surveys to assess interest and support good attendance. The response to the surveys have been minimal, but we are hopeful that the choices for the sessions are helpful for the staff.

  2. Molly is also very helpful. We are open to hear from ANYONE what they want to see at bagels and laptops at the end of this school year. If you have ideas, cool things you have come across or things you are doing in class all the time we would LOVE for you to share and please present!!!

Also, we could resend the survey if you think it would be good.

  3. I'm slowly plugging away compiling resources for the new teacher tech handbook. At our meeting in early April I will bring in a list of resources that we have and that we need. Hopefully, we can divvy up the incomplete resources so a completed handbook can go out in September.

  4. I'm working on how I want the website to be set up for webquesting. I'm thinking that I'll separate it out by grade level and embed the hyperlink for the webquest onto a screenshot of the site. The only problem I can foresee is that folks will have taken down the link. I'll check it out as I go on and email them if there is a problem.

  5. Thanks to MCAS, I have had an opportunity to put some stuff up on the Webquests website. The URL is webquests.lgfnet.org. Check it out and let me know what you think.

  6. Spreading the conversations about best practices using technology tools has been part of regular conversations that I have had with the Lead Facilitators of both Math and Science teams. The 6th grade math teachers are organizing how to use Study Island, MAPS, and CPS all together to prepare for the May math MCAS.

In the science team meetings, the teachers are working towards a compiling a website of resources to support the 6,7, and 8th grade science curriculum.

  7. My piece will be ready for peer feedback/selection on the 15th of April.

Two of the four tech mentor relationships are underway. Could use some help on the remaining two though.
